Wajeez means brief, concise, or a quick way around things in Arabic.

In a fast-paced world where time is scarce and goals demand full focus, daily tasks can feel like obstacles. We saw this struggle firsthand as we grew a tech startup and service and knew we had to make a difference.

That’s when we found our purpose: to be the shortcut—the easiest way to get things done. Wajeez reflects this mission, embodying efficiency, simplicity, and a smarter way forward.

  1. In 2018, Wajeez was born as Foodbeeper, a food delivery service driven by innovation, an app, and a dedicated fleet. Our mission was simple; to make food delivery more accessible. Before long, nearly every restaurant in town had joined our platform, making their menus available online, and managing their delivery operations through our technology.

  3. The beep echoed further. As we continued to grow and reach more regions in Algeria, we set our sights beyond borders. By the end of 2022, we took our first international step, bringing our services to Dakar, the capital of Senegal.

  5. Wajeez as a brand name brought with it more room for creativity and innovation. It perfectly complements our goal of simplifying everyday life through constant innovation. We’re on our way to evolving into a centralised platform for the ever-growing on-demand services in Algeria and beyond.
