What can I order on Wajeez?

to seamlessly order meals from nearby restaurants, shop for groceries, and buy fresh
produce from the comfort of your home. Additionally, our custom delivery service,
'Errands,' allows you to send or receive items in your city, providing a convenient
solution for all your delivery needs.
Is Wajeez's delivery service available in my city?
To verify if our delivery service is available in your location, ensure that the
location services on your phone are activated.
How do I order food or groceries from the app?
To order, follow these simple steps:
- Go to the relevant category based on your order: Restaurants for meals, Market for groceries, or Fresh for fresh produce and meat. You can also use the search bar to find a specific store or item.
- Pick the items you’d like to order and add them to your basket.
- Review your basket then confirm your order.
- If needed, leave a note for the store or your courier.
- Apply any available promo codes to receive discounts on your order.
- Place your order and track its progress.
- Once your order has been received, the delivery person will contact you to confirm the delivery address.
- Enjoy your meal, and feel free to leave a review.
What can I use Errands for?
Errands is our custom delivery service designed to cater to our users’ needs beyond food
and groceries.
This is how an errands order goes through:
- Place an order: Enter the details of the package you need to send or receive, along with any specific instructions and delivery information.
- Courier assignment: Once your order is placed, a courier will be assigned to efficiently run your errand.
How can I top up my mobile credit using the app?
To top up your phone credit, follow these steps:
- Open your Wajeez app and go to the top-up category.
- Enter the phone number you want to recharge.
- Specify the recharge amount.
- Select your preferred payment method.
- Proceed to payment, review the details, then swipe to pay.
- Paying with CIB or EDAHABIA?
- You'll be redirected to a secure page to enter your card details. Once the payment is complete, you'll return to the app and receive your receipt.
What payment methods are available on Wajeez?
For delivery orders, you can pay with cash on delivery or your in-app wallet
balance.
For services like mobile recharge, you can pay online using your CIB card, Edahabia
card, or your wallet balance.
What is Wajeez Gold, and what are its benefits?
Wajeez Gold is a subscription service that
provides access to a variety of exclusive
offers. With a monthly subscription, you will receive 5% cashback on all food orders,
double loyalty points for faster rewards, and other exclusive benefits.
How do I subscribe to Wajeez Gold?
To become a Gold member and enjoy all the exclusive advantages, simply navigate to your
profile in the Wajeez app, find the Wajeez Gold screen, and click on the “Start free
trial now” button. During your trial, relish all the Gold perks on offer. Once the trial
concludes, effortlessly renew your subscription by choosing your preferred payment
method—be it through your loyalty points or in-app wallet balance—and voila! Enjoy the
Gold experience.
Why did my order get rejected?
Your order may have been declined due to one of the following reasons:
- The items you ordered are currently out of stock. In this case, the store will furnish an explanation for the rejection.
- The store you selected is located outside your designated delivery zone. Please don't hesitate to contact our customer service for additional information and assistance.
Why does the delivery fee vary from one store to another?
The delivery charge is calculated according to the distance between the restaurant and
your delivery destination. To view the correct fee on the restaurant's profile, ensure
that you activate your location services and accurately select your location.
At what specific time is it possible to place an order on Wajeez?
Our delivery service is available every day from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
How do I activate my promo code?
Once you get hold of a promo code, save it in the discounts tab and redeem it in your
next order. You may as well apply the code immediately before placing your order.
Can I place an order through the website?
Our delivery service is exclusively accessible through the mobile app, which is
available on both Android and iOS platforms. Should you face any difficulties
downloading the app, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service for
assistance.
My order is delayed; what should I do?
The delivery time for each order may vary depending on your location and the
busyness of the restaurant or store. You can track your order by accessing the "My
orders" tab after placing it.
Please note that certain dishes require more preparation time than others and that
the cooking time is not included in the delivery duration.
If you believe that your order is taking longer than the estimated delivery time,
please contact our customer service team for further assistance.
I want to modify/cancel my order; what should I do?
Our customer service team will be available to help you in case you need to add/remove
items from your order or if you want to cancel it completely.
What is a Wallet? How can I use it?
The wallet serves as a storage space for the cash that you've earned through our
cashback feature, which returns a percentage of the money spent on order delivery. This
accumulated cash can be utilized as a discount on your next order.
What can I do with the points I receive after every order?
By accessing the My Points tab located in the profile section, you have the option to
exchange your accumulated points for any of the rewards available in our loyalty
program.
Can I send my order to a different address than my location?
Absolutely, you have the option to add multiple locations in your town. To do this, go
to "My Addresses" tab in your settings, then click on "Add a new address". Confirm your
location on the map, provide additional details, and save your address.
When you're ready to place an order, switch your address to the desired location and
explore the various stores available in the area.
What type of vehicles do couriers use for delivery? How big can my orders be?
Our couriers use motorcycles so they can carry whatever you want, as long as it’s under
8 kg in weight and fits in a box sized 40x40x50 cm. Wajeez is happy to transport
anything you need bearing these dimensions in mind.
